Bronislaw Kasprzak, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Augustow, Poland on March 3, 1919, son of the late Jozef and Maria (Staszczyk) Kasprzak, he was a resident of Chicopee. Bronislaw served in the Polish Army during World War II and was a member of the Polish American Veterans, Andrew Balut Post. He was a communicant of St. Anne Church and the former Mater Dolorosa Church. He was a retired repair machinist for the Moore Drop Forge Co. Bronislaw is survived by his beloved wife of sixty five years, Grazyna (Rokicka) Kasprzak; two loving daughters, Krystyna Kane and her husband Edward and Izabela Stewart and her husband Keith; three cherished grandchildren, Briana Kane, Ashley Bouchard and her husband Daniel, and Brett Stewart and his wife Sandra; and a cherished great grandson, Baxter Bouchard. Funeral services will be held Monday morning from the Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Anne Church, 30 College St., Chicopee. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours are Monday from 8:00 - 9:15AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Chicopee Senior Citizens, Inc., 5 West Main St., Chicopee, MA 01020.
