David "Gary" Lagoy of Chicopee passed away peacefully in His Home, with family showering him with love. David was born April 13, 1953 in Plattsburgh, New York. He was a son of Alice Eason Lagoy of Raleigh, NC. My brother was a get-to-the-point kind of guy. So I will write his words exactly how he spoke them to me. “I am a people person, an FB quiz said so. David Gary Lagoy leaves behind a large loving family, and more than I can count friends and acquaintances. I ain’t putting this in the paper. What do they think I am made of MONEY! I love you all and have liked the times we had together. I want no fights and no crying, I hate crying (sure you people person you). Just remember the happy times I may have given you. I’m ready to be with Ken, Mom, Danny and Jack. We’ll all see each other again. Alright, that’s enough kid. I love you, but that’s enough for now.” My brother passed away before we added anything else. I watch as he fought and he did fight hard, but I guess some times it’s just not enough. His life was shattered in a matter of months. So fast it made his head spin. I love you Gary, my people person you. For always. I know he would want to say I love you all and was grateful to be part of each and every one of your lives. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday from 10AM- 12Noon at Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee. Committal services and burial will follow in Ste. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St., Chicopee.
