Stanley “Stan” J. Maziarz, Jr., 65, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 12, 2021. Born October 6, 1956, son of the late Stanley J. Sr. and Dorothy (Sowa) Maziarz, he was a lifelong Chicopee resident and a parishioner of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop & Martyr. A graduate of Chicopee High School, Class of 1974, Stan continued his education at Springfield Technical Community College. He worked for American Saw & Manufacturing Co. in East Longmeadow for thirty-five years, and more recently part-time for Eastern States Exposition. Stan was a loyal Las Vegas Raiders fan throughout the years, win or lose. In his spare time, Stan enjoyed working in his garden and spending many fall vacations with his wife on Cape Cod. Stan is survived by his beloved wife of forty-two years, Lynn (Szklarz) Maziarz, to cherish forever a lifetime of happy memories, including those with their predeceased furbabies, Nicky and Bux. Stan is also survived by his loving brother, Michael Maziarz and wife Sarah of Chicopee; sisters-in-law, Katherine MacGowan and husband Todd, of Chicopee, and Joanne Maynard and husband Michael, of Chicopee; and many friends and neighbors who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Phyllis Sliwa, and grandparents, Stanley and Mary Sowa. All funeral services for Stanley were held privately for the family.
