Wieslawa Lesniak Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Wieslawa (Nowecka) Pierzchalski Lesniak, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center, with loving family at her side. Born in Poland on May 1, 1944, daughter of the late Stefan and Stefania (Maciejewska) Noweccy, she was a proud Polish immigrant who came to America in 1984 and was loved by many. Wieslawa worked at Holyoke Hospital for many years before her retirement. She was a parishioner of the former Mater Dolorosa Church in Holyoke and more recently of Christ the King Church in Ludlow. Wieslawa always provided love and support for her family. She made time for everyone and enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. She was predeceased by her husband, Michal Pierzchalski, and her son, Adam Pierzchalski. Wieslawa is survived by her loving son, Grzegorz Pierzchalski and wife, Ewa; caring daughter-in-law, Beata Pierzchalski; five cherished grandchildren, Sylwia, Eryk and wife Paula, Michael, Tamara, and Krystian; treasured great-granddaughter, Mila, sister, Teresa Zajac; a nephew and his family who live locally, and several nieces and nephews in Poland. She was predeceased by her sister, Zofia, and her brother, Mirek. Family and friends are invited to calling hours for Wieslawa on Friday from 4-7PM at Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee. All are invited to meet at Christ the King Church on Saturday at 11AM for a Mass of Christian Burial for Wieslawa. Burial will be held privately at a later date at the convenience of the family.
