Leane A. Boutin

Leane A. Boutin, 78, passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, October 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Born on October 30, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Michael E. and Alice (Bergeron) Fesko. Leane was raised and schooled in South Hadley. She lived in Granby for nearly 25 years where she raised her family, and helped her husband manage his Electrical Contracting business. For a period of time they owned and operated the Crescent House Restaurant and Banquet Facility before converting it to apartments in the mid-eighties. Leane resided in Chicopee since 2004. She had many hobbies throughout her life. She was a member of the Chicopee Moose Club. She often enjoyed vacationing with family. The beaches of Bonaire and the Las Vegas strip were her two all-time favorites, as well the local stops to Foxwoods, MGM, and countless trips to bingo with friends and her granddaughters. She loved being outside, whether it was working in the garden or enjoying the pool, she loved basking in the sun. In her younger years she always told stories of how she would fish, metal detect, scuba dive, or go canoeing regularly. Leane was always on the move. She always loved a good get together with family and friends whether it was at her parents pavilion in the earlier years or anywhere, especially the Holidays. She loved watching her sons and their friends play Granby basketball over the years, and the camaraderie that came with that. She was loved by all and we still tell stories about Annie’s “Hoopty Van”, and the countless rides in it to basketball practice and games in years gone by. She loved to cook and share her recipes. Annie perfected the recipe for the best Pina colada in the summer, it was all about moonshine cherries. She was the matriarch of the the family, a mentor, and was always willing to drop anything to help others anyway she could. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do when she put her mind to it. She will be deeply missed. Leane was predeceased by her beloved husband of over forty years, Robert H. Boutin (2019). She leaves behind her two loving Sons; Peter Boutin and his wife Tara of Chicopee, John Boutin and his wife Hillary of Ludlow, along with six step-children Barbara McQuillan, Therese Boutin, Robert Boutin, William Boutin, Michele Boutin, Tammy Boutin, and many beloved grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Michael & Joseph Fesko. Services/burial for Leane will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Central New England Equine Rescue, 96 New Braintree Rd. West Brookfield, Ma 01585.
